A little dated, but I don’t think this piece by the Orange County Register ever made it on the blog:

“I Dream of France celebrated the grand opening of their new location with a ribbon-cutting on Thursday. Tustin City Councilman John Nielsen joined owners Jean-Michel and Brett Carlouet as they cut the red ribbon and greeted many well-wishers and customers. A small reception followed.

Among the shoppers were Linda Jennings of the Tustin Preservation Conservancy, Suzanne Crehan of Seven Gables Real Estate, Pete Beatty and Gretchen Wilbert and Bill Teter of the Tustin Historical Society.

I Dream of France, which features unique home décor and gift items from France, is located at 150 E. Main Street, in the Cox’s Market Plaza building, next to Miss Bobbie’s Low Carb Shoppe and Old Town Flooring.”

Live in Tustin or the western portion of Irvine? Check your mail this week for a coupon book called Savings in Tustin or Savings in Irvine (West Irvine edition). I Dream of France is in it! The offers are different from the other ads we’ve had in local papers (Foothills Sentry, Tustin News – Orange County Register). This is our first time buying ad space in a coupon mailer so we can’t wait to see what the response will be! The company that makes the coupon books sent a photographer to our boutique and designed the ad for us with a collage of different photos, including our coated tablecloths and French children’s clothes. We think it turned out very pretty and eye-catching.

We are expanding our advertising reach this week by publishing an ad in two Orange County Register community newspapers, The Orange City News and The Current. The Orange City News covers the city of Orange (obviously) and Villa Park.  The Current covers Corona Del Mar, Newport Coast, Newport Beach and Costa Mesa.

Our  ad is the same as the one we have been running in the Tustin News and the Irvine World News. It will run today in the Orange News and tomorrow in The Current. Take a look and tell us what you think….there is a coupon on the ad too! (Good in-store only, and not online or by phone).
